Differential Bushings?
Anyone know where I could get some replacements? I've had the hard Delrin ones in from Pettit, but I'm getting way too much drivetrain noises.
I know the Mazdaspeed ones are slightly harder than the stock ones. But does anyone else know what other kinds are made for our FD's? No hard ones either.
The Hard ones can be great for Drag racing but terible on the street.

I just finished installing my new solid bushings today, I bought these - http://rx7.com/store/rx7/SolidDiffMounts.html from rx7.com
I drove the car some today, I didn't notice any side effects or negative issues, all positive and I am glad I replaced them. As soon as I get the pillow ***** replaced, I shouldn't have any clunking noises or wheel hop (I also replaced the toe links and trailing arms from rotary extreme). The bushings made a nice difference to make the car feel smoother when accelerating from a stop, and therefore the clunking noise is less. I don't think there are any louder noises of any kind after installing these. I am glad I got these and would recommend them to anybody. They sure are a lot harder to change than everyone makes it sound when describing the installation process. The four 17mm bolts for the diff. mount are very hard to get to and then very hard to find a way to get them loose, it took me like 1 or 2 hours to figure out a way to get those loose, I want to warn anyone getting ready to install these, they are not fun, and I took extra steps to lower the diff down further and took two extra frame parts off to make more room under there. It took me a while to figure out a way to use the two wrench method to get the bolts loose, I had to go get more wrenches so I would have different lenghts of 17mm wrenches to work with. After taking off the mount, I had the old bushings pressed out and new bushings pressed in at a local small service shop, they charged me $20, not too bad I guess. Overall I spent about 5 hours including replacing the fuel filter, I am sure that was much easier with the diff. lowered down but even still it was hard to get a hose off so that jub ending up taking like about 30-40 mins, it would be a huge PITA if doing it without the diff. lowered down. So to anyone reading this, change your fuel filter while you can more easily.
I hope this long post helps someone.

quick question, my cousins RX7 has this really loud and ruff bump noise coming from the rear of the car when he is on a bad road or bumpy one. I know its not the shocks but it sounds like blow shocks and is ruff. Could these be the bushings? is it normal to have these replaced with 65K on the car?

My car also has some noises when on bumpy rodes, but the noises are more noticeable when starting to go from a stop. I have heard of people needing to replace the pillow ***** around 20-35k miles, so I would bet after 65k they need replaced, I have 97k, the rear of my car made my car feel like a peice of junk when I bought it a few weeks ago, soon it should be like new, after a lot of money spent though. If those same or similar noises (clunking noises) are made when letting out the clutch to accelerate from a stop (not smooth), then at least the pillow ***** need replaced, and if these mounts were also replaced then it would make another nice difference. see these two links for instructions on the pillow bals - http://www.clubrx.org/default.asp?id...ntent=32&mnu=5 and http://www.maxcooper.com/rx7/how-to/.../pillow_balls/
I should be replacing those on friday, and will expect not to have any noises afterwards (or very very little).

The Hard ones can be great for Drag racing but terible on the street.

How come it took so long to get? And what do they sell for?

Cost was about $100 for both I think. I also bought Mazadaspeed trailing arm bushings at the same time, which were another $100 or so.
