Difference between US and Europe 3rd gen specs
Hey guys,
I am also gonna post this on the europe forum. I did a search but found nothing. I live in Italy and I found 2 rx7s I am trying to buy. One 1995 (Nr. 501 in the series) probably the most recent one in italy, for 16,000 dollars. It has like 36,000 miles and looks perfect from the outside. Engine bay is verry dirty but I dont really know what to look out for. It is an R2 version. WHat is in the R2 Version? (Recaro seats, two oil radiators???)
The other is a 1993, also 36000 miles, but it is a european version. Color is awesome...like montego blue maybe. The guy seams really honest and showed me all the records. The only thing was a 1500 dollar repair on the "Turbo Flange" which I dont know what that means. Now when the second turbo kicks in it sounds like it is loosing air or something...maybe it is supposed to sound like that. It is 12,000 dollars. He says the car has gotten up to 270 Kph...not with him in it though. No speed limiter?
The main thing I need to know is what are the differences, besides the kph gauge instead of mph gauge. It seems to be like an R1. Def. not touring. I am gonna ship the RX7 to the states and I dont want to have to do expensive mods. Pleeeeease help!
