He can do them in all leather like I have or like the OEM ones, with leather in the front only. They are some of the best quality I have seen and I am very pleased.

Amazing car David! Came across these a lil while ago and meant to share them since your the only other car I have seen them on. Definitely not as clean looking as yours and even a little ricey looking super blue...but Japanese car culture is a bit different then here in the states.

The way LEDs are progressing it won't be long before they make a better product and when they do, I'll simply peel mine off and replace

I can honestly say that David's car is pure perfection! From start to finish, nothing was left. David also let me drive this beast and I can tell you there is no replacement for displacment! lol...Great to finally meet you bro.
Here are some pics of David's car at Deals Gap.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. It was great meeting all of you - well, maybe not ErnieT, but the rest of you. Major league kidding Ernie
Post up as many pics as you'd like in this thread. I kept saying to my father in law how cool it was being in a group of such great condition RX7s. Think about it, the cars in our group are all 16-17 years old and they looked brand new. That was pretty cool.
As for my car, I am at the end of a long conversion and am now able to start enjoying it. I've worked hard this year to get the car to a point that I am proud of and I am 99% of the way done so it feels good. Yes, there is always something else to do but now it is "enjoyment" items not "must do" things. I felt good about the car and how it looks but I did get shut out of the car show awards which surprised me Back to the drawing board I guess.
Helghast7, thanks for the cookies! We enjoyed them on the way home. You Miami guys did beat us back home I am sure as "G" in our group had several car issues that set us back a few hours. We had to hot wire his car so he could make it back which led to an interesting story with the cops in SC. We forgot the importance of the key when it comes to steering wheel lock and Garret found this out the hard way by almost going off the side of the exit. Happened right in front of about 5 cops
I'll keep you all posted on the BBQ event at Kilo Racing which I would like to do in the next month, before it gets too hot. Be good and talk to you soon.

David, you weren't considered for an award because your FD won the whole salami last year (People's Choice).

It was a great time and it was good seeing you too. Glad you made it back in one piece (not counting the various tranny parts laying in your pan). Those shirts were hilarious I have to say.
I'm hoping to head down to Kilo this Saturday to finish up the tuning on my car and dyno the sucker. I buried the needle on the AFR on WOT - it was below 10 so I am giving up a ton of HP there not to mention fuming out the people behind me. I was kindly asked to move to the back of the line on out Skyway run. As if the other rotaries weren't spewing out exhaust also

Dave,
The wife and I had a great time with you as our "Tour Guide".... It made the trip alot less stressful following someone who knew where they were going... Except for the fumes...
I will post pics of the "FLAMES" that we got to see during the ride down US28 to Fontana Dam, I am just waiting on a new motherboard as my computer took a dump the day before DGRR.
P.S... I didn't get any awards either nor did I win anything at the raffle like some people we know...
Thanks again
Joe

David, just in case you think I made up that rule... I didn't I think its BS that you can't win twice!! Especially if you did so much work to it!! next year, I say everyone go head to head.. me included
Also, Are you running upgraded brakes?

I call BS on that rule!! Yes, I am running the Pettit Racing "Outlaw" big brake kit. Works great although I would like the Brembo name for the bling factor. Tested them out quite a bit at DGRRX and they worked very well with no fade. If not, at one point on the Skyway I most certainly would have been over the edge

Running both the OMP and pre-mixing also for safety. KIlo's opinion is the OMP is not a big issue like some contend and he would be comfortable with just the OMP. I like the pre-mix also so that's what I do. I may convert over to the RA adapter setup so I know clean oil is injected into the engine.
