I've thought about it but decided I didn't want a stock 99 bumper, I don't want a glued together stocker since it would likely crack if someone leaned on it the wrong way. I talked about it with my bodyguy and wasn't convinced that the shaved 99 plate holder would look good long term.

At this point it is a moot point since I bought a new 93 bumper cover along with the R1 brake ducts, belly pan and R1 spoiler. It hurt $$ to go 99+ stuff now.

I didn't weigh the chassis, the front end structure weighs about 75-100 lbs, the floor probably weighs 40-50lbs.

Does this mean that there are/were now only 4 available new FD floors? Or more can be produced?

Yes, 4 floors left.

I don't know if Mazda will toss the tooling but I imagine the floor is such a rarely requested part they won't make anymore.
