Cup Holder Solved?

Well I went to bed bath and beyond and saw this neat cup holder that really is universal and I jumped on it. So I bought it but could not really find a good place to put it in the 3rd Gen.....So I saw the hand brake and presto, it fits so good I think I solved my cup holder solution after all. The good thing is you can use it anywhere and it is not just for the 3rd generation specific.....

I love the guages but to be honest they are hard to see in the daylight like others have compalined about. It doesn't bother me because I am not racing or on the track so I don't look at my guages all the time. If your on the track a lot don't buy these....

I came across this cup holder from another forum and thought it should work in the FD also. Mounted on the passenger side, tucked up the center console.

BMW Cup Holders, Porsche Cup Holders, Ultimate Cup Holder - Cupholders / Drink Holders for BMW 3 5 7 Series, Boxster 911 Z4 Mercedes Audi NSX other fine cars.

I had that "Ultimate Cup Holder" in my old BMW E39 M5. it was actually a very nice piece. I stupidly sold it with the car. I should have looked to see if it could have transferred over to the RX7. Stupid me. I'll have to order another one.

I try to only drink water bottles with caps.

Drank from a soda can before and spilled some, ants came.

I kind of wedge mine between the front of the passenger seat, and the transmission tunnel. You need something with a cap or a top/straw though.

Between the legs is a good spot, except when you see a cop and your speeding and you slam the brakes...Yeah that drink quickly flies onto the floor, luckily not my rx7 though lol.

I use one of those zip-up lunch boxes and just put it on my passenger seat to hold THREE drinks at the same time!!! and it keeps them cold, i might add =] but before i used the lunch bag, i would take a sweater and swirl it into a lil nest shape and put my drink in the middle... actually never spilled a drop! but i seriously want one of those cupholders in the link......
