CraigLieberman looking for f&f 2 cars
Just thoguht some of you would like to see this, or some of you might already know about it.. But Craig has been hanging in the hosuton forum for a while promoting f&f 2.. Dunno why but the Houston forum kinda sucks.. i'm not gonan lie to you.. And i've been living in houston for 3 years... More rice in that forum then I have in my house (and we love rice... alot) heheheh.. But there it is.. Chance to be in f&f 2 and sponsered... I think he said they were looking for show quality cars, and they don't start filming until sept this year.. and it might be filmed in Miami... good luck as i know my POS has as much of a chance od making it as my brothers boat, to be in f&f 2.. heheheh Unless it's fast and furious in the water.. heheheh THen he has a great chance. hahah

I really can't see this as being real. Maybe it's just me. Why the hell would some guy post this where he is going to get literally 1000's of emails full of rice? I mean, the first one had a lot of rice too, what with the gay flying robots and all, but seriously! Every civic with an exhaust tip will reply to that. Whatever, like I said, it might just be me.
Also, why the hell wasn't anything posted here? At least he would get more real performance cars in his replys (not saying that Houston forum is all rice as I'm sure some of it is very respectable).

I was wondering that myself.. but I guess he doesn't want to only target rx7's.. There are alot of rices.. but you do find some decent cars in there.. More varity I guess... At first I thought it was someone trying to be him but he has been on there for weeks... to much for a poser.... And he is detailed in all his topics... including discussions of why NDRA (isn't that what he heads up??? i dunno one of those hehe...) doesn't come to houston raceway.. and some topics.... and he posted pics of his car soon to be in the movie as well... I know anywone could post pics of a skyline.. but like i said before.. just seems too much and elaborate to be a poser...
here are his three thread s thus far.. the one above i posted already.. and the two below... I don't liek the hosuton forum, because it doesn't post alot of topics.. it's the same ones day in and out...
http://www.houston-imports.com/forum...&threadid=9868

i dunno you be the judge... heheh craig or who da hell is that... heheh

Anybody can hang out on a forum and post pics. I'm not trying to **** on anybodys parade here but sitting on a forum for a month or two is easy when you consider that he will make an assload of $$$ off of this site. Also, the language he uses seems very "unbusinessmanlike." Even more than that, there is something about this whole business that doesn't seem right. Personally I wouldn't get involved.

ANd if it's not him.. some guy is sure damn detailed about his setup... I guess he could get it from some magazine but it would be stupid to be so elaborate and get busted to be a fraud.. so i think it is him.. but believe me.. it was a shock to see him in the hosuton forum.. Especially because i've been in here and there is much more traffic here.. I figured he would rather hit a forum with more people.. but no harm in signing up and asking him yourself..... Here is what he listed in one of the topics... to detailed for a poser if you ask me..
Plus he hyped up the SAn anotnio race.. and came though with what he said was going to be there,.... just read all the posts.... Seems odd i know but.. hey could be someone on his team help promoting... hehe close enough i say... =)

Its not a problem
Guys....
Its not a problem, I'm not offended...the guy has a right to his opinion. His original email asked for answers, I gave them to him and also fed him some facts.....info on our staff, for example. I'm thicker skinned than that and again, maybe NDRA is not for him.
I did however, have to shoot holes in the claims about us not being racers....IDRC's mantra about "By the racers, for the racers" has long been jibberish. I defy anyone to show me one name on the IDRC staff that races or holds a license....but does that even matter?
Someone said it best...let's STFU and go race.

Man, the farther I get into this guys post the more unbelieveable he gets. Sorry if it seems like I am cloging up this thread with my posts, but honestly, he can't be serious. Also, he seems to think that getting a paint job on a car is the 1st thing someone should do, THEN get a body kit. It seems to me that I would save a lot of $$$ by having the kit put on and getting new paint at the same time. Again, that's just IMO.

maybe i'll register my dad's Porsche 944 turbo, just for the heck of it. and my '90 Audi 90 even without mods, it'd be one of the damn rarest cars in that movie. and have the biggest sidewalls

anyone notice his quater time 12.25 with all those mods is sad the car stock runs 13.5's in the 1/4. Either hes a $hitty driver or some of those mods have to be bull, And who lists the price with the mods seems like hes tryin to show boat IMO.

Something doesn't jive.. the NOPI Fast and the Furious Drag Series begins next month, with beginning FnF filming at the Pennsylvania series opener, per Autoweek. I heard it's going to be more track-action because of the flak they got for "promoting the illegals". The casting crew can find plenty of cars at any Hot Import Nights or at the strip.

I agree:
1.This thread is in the wrong place
2.The guy is probably a fake
3.Fast and the Furious is gay
4.That skyline is extremely slow for those mods
5.Jonski is right get that **** out of here so the ricers don't find out about the rx-7 even more
I can't imagine having the thousands of ricer cars in the US meet together somewhere and try out their cars for this movie...that would be a good place to plant a bomb it would make it all better
Snook
PS I am going to check the email notification box even though I know it hasn't worked for the past few decades

Actually, by the way he is talking, I am almost sure it is him. A while back, when he had his Supra for sale on eBay, I emailed him a few times about it, (not about buying it sadly, just questions) and this was before F&F even came it, i guess it was about May of last year, i still have the emails in my account, and this seems like him. we exchanged emails fo a few weeks just in casual conversation and then once the movie came out he went on some big promotional tour and we really havent chatted since. He told me all about his Skyline in progress and then about 5 months later there was a big feature on his skyline on SpeedOptions.com i remember reading about, it truly is bad ***... so don't doubt too much, i believe it's him, but i just dont understand why it costs money to register your car, for the 1st movie i thought they just put out posters to show up at a certain place ona certain date with your car... but they did get a HUGE response so maybe this time theyre narrowing it down before that happens again... just a thought
