Cooling hose advice needed
Well its time to NOT install the stinking factory hoses that seem to blow out about every two years...
Anybody know wheres the best place to find this stuff (braided lines etc.), the cars at the dealer, but they will let me use my own parts.
I saw some posts that said Malloy was a source for the big hoses, but I'm not sure what Malloy is...
I seek your wisdom.

What is wrong with only getting 2 years out of your hoses? I change them EVERY 20K miles.( all 14 on the car with twins) They go bad from the inside out. .
Do you have any idea what you are asking them to do for 2 years straight? You should feel lucky they last that long.
Hoses are cheap insurance to a good cooling system. Also I change the thermostat every 20K as well. I don't think that anything will last more than that ..."reliably"
Just my opinion though. Samco makes some good hoses.
