Cooling Advice for someone keep twins

Cooling Advice for someone keep twins
I plan to keep the stock twins either by purchasing new Effini 99's or going with BNRs. I already have a full exhaust and after my motor rebuild intend to upgrade my intake. My goal is to tune for around 300 - 325 RWHP. I also plan to get a vented hood MazdaSpeed Style is my current thought.
I don't intend to track this car much, but I do plan to do some autocross and drive it on the street. The heat soak issues with FD's have me paranoid and I want to upgrade the cooling sooner then later. With my above goal in mind is SMIC an OK Choice?
I see lots of V-Mount/FMIC, etc. But, I'd like to keep the stock look for my twins. I've been eying the Re-Amemiya SMIC on RX7 Boutique and really think that and a Auto EXE CF intake and Ronin MotorSports CF SMIC Ducting would meet my goals.
Finally, Fluidyne or Koyo N-Flow?

* Dual oil coolers
*Relocate the intake air temp sensor
*Run as much distilled water to coolant as you can in your climate.
*Consider an auxillary injection system..
*SMIC is fine for you goal IMO.
*Re: the "full exaust" you might want to search 'boost creep'
*Either of those radiator choices are good.
*Get an S5 fan thermoswith to activate at 95 C. instead of the stock 105C. threshold.
*Consider a vented hood but know the downsides...fitment, weather, need for pins etc.
*You'll need a standalone or re-programmed ECU.

I forgot to mention:
I have a powerFC and datalogit to install later this week. I'm aware of the boost creep and not getting into WOT till I get the powerFC installed.
I have an CYM R1 so I have the Dual Oil Coolers
I have a Wannaspeed IAT PNP Harness and fast acting IAT on the way
I am on the AZEKnight Solenoid Group Buy
I'm looking at this CF Hood:

12 - 14. I know if I with the BNRs I have room for plenty more. I will upgrade my injectors and ignition when I do turn up the boost as well. Sorry, the point of the thread was thermal management of my IC and radiator at around 325 RWHP for an AutoX, DD, occasional HPDE car.

I'm a noob, but I think they are mentioning creep in regards to your "full exhaust". Easiest way to eliminate it is a high flow cat vs midpipe, or restricting exhaust some other way. And if it isn't happening, then nothing to worry about. You have boost gauge to monitor right?
Do I get points!?!??

I understand the cause of the creep with my stock twins, but I thought a high flow cat flowed almost if not as well as a mid pipe meaning the same problem would exist. My understanding is it is a byproduct of a less then awesome internal waste gate which is why they got enlarged or when going with Single Turbos opt for an external one.

EDIT: Yeah, what white weazle said, and you're correct about porting the wastegate. I have a PFC like you, and use a Bonez to take care of creep, and a MBC under the hood for spike.

I'm sure there are sound clips. I have RB twin tip and the bonez with an open intake and LOVE the way my cars sounds. I gotta keep it somewhat tame though, because the track I go to has the worst sound-level laws around. Youtube Bonez FD3S.
Another thing that a lot of people overlook is ducting. Making sure everything is there and fitting well makes a HUGE difference. I'm talking about the oil cooler ducts, intake (if it's stock or 'cheap-bastard' style, like mine) and front undertray mostly.

F**K THE SYSTEM!!
I wouldnt recommend BNR's; owned one on my 2nd gen and it was a nightmare at the dyno. Controlling boost properly can save you many engines.
You need to personally search and ask the 3rd gen owners making 320whp on stock engine/turbos. They have the best answers

Well, I have been looking at the Banzai dyno examples and setups to get an idea. Pretty sure with just my oem turbos the numbers are easily doable, my question goes back to my original post about thermal management. Lots of the folks were using SMICs, but what I dont know is how well they handled a little abuse. I didn't buy an R1 to sit in the garage, I want to flog here occasionally .

@ptrhahn: when you say don't over look the oil coolers, what do you mean? I have the R1 package so I have duals and when she is down for an engine rebuild this winter I will clean them following the forum howto, but is there something else I should look at? I see SakiBomb has a gorgeous upgraded oil cooler setup, but it's not cheap and I also want their headlight setup.

For your intended use of the car IMO the stock dual oil coolers are fine. If you were making it a track monster then yeah...go bigger. But for an autocross/street car with an otherwise decent cooling system they're fine. Just clean them and straighten the fins if necessary.
What the others said about a hi-flow cat being enough to avoid creep. Again, IMO, I actually think it sounds better with a cat than w/o. And the other often overlooked bennie of keeping a cat is you avoid the stench. I DISGREE with whoever essentially said "if you don't have creep now don't worry about it". From what I understand creep is unpredictable. One day for whatever reason you go WOT and get it. And it's hard to react in time. IMO either port the wastegate (if it isn't already ported with the BNRs) or keep some restriction.
