Coolant Problem

Im not sure wheres its coming from but i think theres a leak somewhere. Well i was driving home i hammered it in 3rd from 40mph-70mph at 7psi, since i haven't felt boost for awhile then i let it stay in 3rd to downshift. After that i drove it easy to the store on the way home.
I get out of my car and i smell coolant so im like oh crap so i drove home with the heater on full blast driving slow. Temp needle didn't rise although i know its pretty useless but the coolant buzzer didn't go either. Then i get home to inspect it it wasn't leaking coolant anymore but i could hear that boiling noise in the AST and parts unknown. It was 10pm already. So i couldn't see where it mightive been leaking from earlier.
I just upgraded to a koyo and replaced the upper and lower radiator hose so im guessing it has nothing to do with that but is this somewhat normal. Did the coolant just boil out of something cuz when i got home there was no leaks but at the store there was a small puddle in front of the car im guessing about 2-3 oz worth. What do you guys think thanks!

ok update maybe u guys will find it more interesting to respond. Anyways im looking under the hood and i see a freakin hose that broke off. If im not mistaken its dark out and used my headlights to see its the water hose. Its kinda funny cuz when i got my car back a few days after i started to notice a faint smell couldn't quite make it out. I thought it was just the smell of new upper and lower radiator hoses. I never got that boiling noise though until tonite when strongly smelled coolant. I really dont know when that hose broke off but would it be possible that it broke last week and I drove it with it broken or it mustve happened around the time i was at the store.
I mean i know rotaries cant take overheating but i dont get it. If it was the water hose how come my coolant buzzer didn't go off and why didn't the car overheat yet? How long can the FD go with a busted water hose?

Which hose? If it's part of the overflow system, it might not significantly affect coolant levels. But still replace it because I think it will push coolant out each time the car is run.

Also, the boiling sound might partly be due to the system needing burped. Keep water handy - the buzzer will sound when that air escapes to the filler neck.
