Coffee Anyone?

I took off my front bumper the other day and noticed a black can that sorta looks the size of a Nabob container, located just under the passanger light housing. It has a approx. 1/2" hose coming out of it. I have been told that it is a Muffler for the stock BOV??? Is this correct? Or can I open my own Starbucks. Anyways some one please tell me what this thing is? Thanks

Was there white powder inside of it? Maybe your car was used for the drug trade. I would have never thought to look there if I was an inspector.

The Headlight washer reservior is under the DRIVERS side headlight - The Coolant Expansion tank is under the Passenger headlight. The STOCK, BOV, and CRV, are muffled by the exhausting into the AIRBOX, The AIRPUMP BYPASS muffler is also built into the airbox lid.

Dont know about any thing else under the Pass headlight

The word from mazda

Just talked to a Mazda Tech. He said the component is a charcoal filter. The the filter is connected to a device that is used to remove the excess gass vapor from the intake upon shutdown of the vehicle. This results in less corrosion on the intake ect.

Had a Starbucks Cappacino this A.M.......Ground the beans myself and made it in my Krups Cap Maker...poured the rich dark liquid into a go cup along with the creamy frothy mixture and a dash of sugar.

Then placed the cup in the cupholder of my daily beater, my 91 Miata Classic Red. Cause I don't drink and drive in my Rex!
