Clicking while Braking.
Hi Guys,
I think I may know what's causing this via a 2nd generation post, but I'll post here as well just in case.
I am getting a fairly loud clicking noise from the front of the car whenever I brake.
The disks have been recently replaced with Tar-Ox grooved discs (40-groove, I think) and Hawk pads.
I wondering if it's simply a case of the new pads and discs being very "aggressive".
I have also read that the pads can shift in the caliper when braking causing the noise?
Thanks
Andrew.

Make sure the caliper pins are greased - if the pads bind on the pins, you'll get some noise.
Also, anything that's rusty in the wheel assembly can make noise. Rust between the hub and wheel, rust between the rotor and hub, etc. can result in clicking noises.
