Check Valve Prices - These seem ridiculious... where should I get them?
Alright... I called Mazda (because MAzda has ridiculious prices) and this is what i got...
I am about to do a hose job with silicon, and I read the guide that "Dave" gave on his website.
Replacing what I need to replace would cost me about $500, and I am saying screw that..... here are the prices I was given:
Throttle Body Gasket - $21.13
Throttle Body O-Ring - $23.25
Extension Manifold Gasket - $13.50
Air Control Valve Gasket - 12.25
Small Diameter Check Valve - $44.38
Large Diameter Check Valve - $36.41
Considering you have several green/white pills, replacing them would be off the wall expensive. I figure I may have a few I need to replace... where should I get these from?
Thanks a lot...

As far as the check valves, put up a "want to buy" thread in the forsale section. I'm sure theres plenty of guys with single turbos who have all the stock pieces laying in a box.

hmm... cool deal. Glad you guys have some that are holding up. Maybe I just got a couple out of a bad production run or something. Oh well, I upgraded to some high strength metal ones from McMaster. They definately aren't going to break on me anytime soon (course, they are a bit more expensive. But hey, they're still cheaper than the Mazda OEM ones! )

Or you can go to NAPA and get them to look up a quality check valve that is the same size. I ordered 3 or 4 from them for like $3 a piece, still working fine almost 2 years later.
McMaster-Carr sounds like a good bet, internet and prob a little more durable, you just have to make sure they have the smae closing sensitivty as the stock ones.
Don't use RTV, that stuff sucks. Go spend and extra $8 and get some Hondabond (one of the few things I would buy from them). Waaaay better than any Autozone RTV and just as god as Mazda's at over half the price.
