Cheaper to Rebuild or Reman Engine?

Driving home today my car turned off. I could not get it to start after trying for a long time it finally did but sounded like **** and wanted to turn off. Got it home no damn oil!!!! I had just changed it Sunday so I am starting to investigate what cause all the oil to disappear. When I took the oil cap off smike coming out. I know the Apex seals must be gone but don't know if the rotors made it or not so I want to know if it will be cheaper to try and rebuild or to just get a reman motor?
