Changing the Fuel Filter

I dont see the need to drain the gas tank or mod the lines. I changed my fuel filter in a few minutes with almost a full tank of gas and got everything back on with little problems. The write up is one way of doing it but not necessarily the best way IMO.

Do you have really small arms or somethin?

I think its worth it because it makes it so simple for future changes. Just my .02

How'd you change the fuel filter in just a few minutes?

Has yours already been relocated?

I tapped and heli coiled the rear subframe and put mine here. ^ I find it hard to believe you changed it in a few minutes in the stock location. Now here is a different story.

i changed mine in just a few minutes as well....HOWEVER, trying to get everything back together and remounting everything took me at least 90minutes

I've have said this before and will say it again....I would rather do 5 downpipe installations than ONE fuel filter change.
God I hated changing that bitch!

I also mount them on the rear lower sub frame ,but not as low as the above picture .I use filters with thread in fittings as I do not like push on hoses and clamps .I can change mine in two to three minutes . I drilled two holes and attached the bracket to the subframe with 6mm nuts and bolts .

I didnt think this job was that bad. When I said a few mins i didnt mean like 10mins. Sorry about that It felt like a few mins but I'm sure it didnt take me an hour. I did it on my driveway with the car on stands. My fuel filter was in the stock place.

I also didnt think the vacuum line job was that bad and everyone complains about it. I'd rather change the fuel filter than do a diff. mount job on an FC

i've got a better one that relocates it to the engine bay...its not cheap though
