![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Hi, i read somewhere in the forum that the chacoal cannister can be eliminated. Can someone here guide me through this? I've tried searching, but to no avail. Can the entire system (ie. catch tank, fuel purge control solenoid, all related lines) be removed, and the nipple at the UIM plugged up? Im currently running simplified seq.
Thanks y'all.
Thanks y'all.

You, um, just take it out. Its got lines that run to the tank that you're gonna have to yank out. Im not sure why you'd want to remove it though. You'll end up with that gas smell everytime you get on it.

erm... i just yank it out? how about the solenoid (purge control) valve, and all the lines running to the UIM? can i delete those too and plug up the nipple at the UIM? I know one line from chacoal cannister goes to catch tank, then solenoid valve, then UIM. Where does the other line goes to?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Take a look at page F-129 of the factory manual, it'll show you the vapor recovery system. But why do you want to remove it?? If you do you'll need to rigg something to SAFELY vent the gas vapors.
