Well NEO one thing I dont know and cant see, that Im curious about is in how many places is it mounted in besides above the struts.. I will have to call. Also carbon is good on flexing, but I have never know it to be too good on torting. NOW we do you is all over the F-18 all over the wings and stabilators so It must be good in those aspects too. Like if you wanted a strut bar out of it, it would have to be a flat style like this, but doing across you engine it would look a little cheezzz, maybe it my spare time at work I can try to build on and test it on my car..

if you had no flex at all, it would crack... Nothing on a car, or airplane solid, weird feeling huh? Everything has a give point...if one things gives and the other doesnt it will crack no doubt... but like I said about the mounting areas, that would be able to tell how strong and how much it would handle.. Im really very curious... Im looking into getting one too, but I like the look of the regular strut bar too, so I would use both, I see nothing wrong with that. I have these fender stiffeners, and the first thing the guys says is do you have a strut bar, because we dont recommend using these without a strut bar, due to more stress added to the metal above the strut bar...

well if its not in their catalog, its easy to look over...
Personally I dont think im missing out on anything, I dont know of anyone that has bought a fiberglass door, so why would I keep a carbon one at the top of my priorities, I guess PANSPEED, RE does care much about them either, they both didnt put them in their catalog, because they are ideas, and usually no one buys them just TRUE race drivers...

OK, I just got back from PANSPEED, I got a deal going so cheaper parts arent too far off. As for the long talk we had about the carbon fiber strut bar. I asked does it really work all that good, and he said WAY better then strut bars. I asked about cracking, and he said he has had his for a while and no problems, but he and I agree over a long period of time it might be possible.. I asked is it ok for US cars, the answer was yes, they only thing is you have to cut a hole so you can get to the Brake reservior cap, without taking the panel off. He wants to make the panel cheaper, but since CF is expensive here its hard, but we are talking of a deal. As for his kick *** car..WOW!! thats all I can say. We talked about the style, and price. The price can be cheap, but if you get just the bumper the shipping will kill me and you. But if you buy the whole kit, its a better deal..
OH one last thing, I asked what about a strut bar with the carbon panel.. HE laughed and he said if you drove you would know there is NO WAY you need both, you wont feel any different with both.
Panspeed will be on the web page shortly after scanner is fixed.
Hope that helps
