car wont idle after going on the freeway on a hot day
My current mods are PFC, ebay intercooler, downpipe, 3inch exhaust, non seq mod. I took out the jdm blackbox solenoid system. My car ran shitty until I adjusted the idle screw on the left of the throttlebody assuming you have the inlet facing you. But recently its been hot around here and everytime after I go on the freeway, the car would die right when I come to a stop. It would not start up or idle unless I give it a bit of reving. I try to solve the problem by adjusting the idle air screw to give it more air and that seems to work. I'm wondering what could be the problem? I searched and seen some people suggest problems like this would be the fuel pressure? I know I don't have the fuel pressure solenoid(because it was attached to the black box) I'm wondering is there an alternative solenoid I can use if that's the problem?

I have the exact same problem and i cant find the sollution!!!
I ve been reading the forum but cant find any thread with sollution for this problem.
Has anyone solved this annoying hot idle issue?
My car is a s5 fc turbo ii convertible. The mods are full 3" turbo back, TID intake, FMIC, upgraded sard fuel pump and hks fcon piggy ECU.
Is it possible to blame the air sensor that is located inside the AFM?
