Car has funky idle

I change my plugs every 10k miles, my oil every 3k. The cars battery tested fine. Doesnt eat coolant. Doesnt eat abnormal amounts of oil. Doesnt have problems warm/cold starting. The car is...perfect. It feels like a monster when I romp it. But almost every time I come to a stop my idle drops into the 500s and sits there and tries to recover, but fails to over and over. If I blip the throttle it'll usually make the idle settle back out to 900rpms (what its supposed to be). Sometimes it takes me blipping the throttle 3 times, sometimes once, sometimes it just goes to 900rpms right away (although that is rare). I replaced my coil packs a couple months back when it first started doing this thinking that was my problem. It wasnt. Ive just lived with it since then and plan to replace the drivers side wiring harness this coming month, but I figured id ask to see what you guys say first.

So? What do you think? What confuses me the most is that I can make the idle settle and hold a perfect 900rpms if I just blip the throttle. What i dont understand is why I have to blip the throttle to correct the idle.

Does nobody know the answer to this problem? Why is it that everything wrong with my car I end up solving with no help at all. I mean, I cant complain, I learn a lot more that way, but ****, it'd be nice to know Im not wasting my money. Coil packs werent cheap and that seemed to be a big waste.

could be a couple things.

are you using a PFC?

can be your TPS and your ISC or clutch switch

probably TPS though i think.

Just curious, but don't the 13B-REW's have a BAC system like the second gen cars? I could have sworn that I saw the flange on the manifold for the 3rd gen for a BAC valve... Any confirmation?

If it has it, a good cleaning sounds in order. It controls idle due to various loads on the engine like power steering or air conditioning, etc.
Alot of times it gets clogged with gunk from the PCV system and ends up getting stuck, or opens too slowly.

Have you checked the dashpot on the throttle body?
