Car Dead?

hey, im kinda lost here so maybe one of u guys can fill me in,

k, ive never had a problem with the batt. in the car, never seemed half-*** either. well this morning, i woke up, and let the car run for 5 mins, then went to town (8miles) then i was at an interview for like 45 mins, went back home. then let the car sit for another 45 mins, i was parked behind my mom so i had to move the car to let her out, so i was goin in reverse down the drive way and i was gonna pull up on the lawn. well i put it in 3rd by accident instead of 1st, so i stalled it, i went to start it back up and it was dead... i was trying all diff things and still dead, i was sitting there talking to my mom saying what happened and then my dome light came back on and the door beeper started back up, so went to go start it, it started to start but then click, and then tried it again and nothing at all. so i jumped it with her car and starts back up. so she left so i parked it again and i shut it off to try again and dead again.

so why would my batt die just all of a sudden? is that what it is? if so ill go out and buy a batt. today, anyone recomend a certin kind?

didnt you discuss this already in another form??

its most likely your battery..or how about your terminals?? are you sure they are tight and free of corrosion??

only way to know for sure is take your battery and have it tested..or just do a cheap way and get a digital multimeter and check your battery..

how old is it? i would just replace it..

bad battery, same thing happened to me and it was a bad battery, got an ultima red top battery, changed the terminals and moved the battery and no problems after that. Go get it checked out first before you do anything else.

check your ground too, we have had so many issues with bad grounds and loose terminals...exactly the same problem youre describing.
