Right...
How could someone put those awful rims on that ride. You'd think someone could be original and put something other than the worst looking supra rims available.

that car has a salvage title.. that means that it has been in a wreck that was so bad the ins. company would rather pay the value of the car to the owner than pay to fix it. In most cases the owner then buys the car back from the ins. company for the junk fee, 200$. In this case the previous owner took it to a cheapo body shop and had them use the extra money to slap a shitty *** fish eyed trash filled paint job on top of it. Its looks good from about 10 feet away but when you drive a car that has been in a wreck where there was frame damage you will know why it is so hard to sell them. Even with the best body shop doing the repairs it will never be the same..
just my 2 cents...

Yeah, bee, you have a good point. I was going to comment that as soon as I saw the pictures I scrolled up to see if it had a salvage title because I just had a feeling. It was either in a bad wreck like bee said, but my gut originally told me that the car was stripped and salvaged.
It sure is ugly.

aftermarket warranties on 7's are BS..
They will not cover anything of significance inside your motor. If you blow an apex seal for-get-it, they aint paying for ****. The only thing I have ever herd of them covering is when an oil pump goes bad and the engine dies as a result. How many 7 owners do you know that has happend to?

It could also be a "theft recovery".. I had my integ stolen a long time ago and it was totally stripped. The ins. company ended up salvaging it. In most cases if the car is stripped the car would end up beeing salvaged.

I kind of like the paint... but the Supra rims definitely have to go... and is that a base? that's also a pretty optimistic starting bid for a salvage titled car too, especially without the details...
the real deal killer for me is the Fast and Furious reference... I automatically think ghey every time I hear that...
my final rating (like it matters ) is

Isn't this weird? On the 20th the car was sold...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1853052259
And today another auctinon on the car started and ended due to "The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing."
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1854652248
And yet the wording of the listing didn't change. And the price probably didn't change (same But it Now price since the first auction ended that way).
I would not consider eBay as a source for an RX7. I had a friend use it to purchase a 68 Camaro, but that's a different type of car (I was able to look at it and test drive it before my friend - 1,200 miles away - bought it). Search for closed auctions for 3rd gens. Great ones don't get good bids (93 with 12k only went to 18.6K) and shitty burnt motor ones sell around 9k. Doesn't make sense.
