Buying an FD3S soon, suggestions?

Hey guys,

I'm looking at getting a manual 94 rx7. Is there any suggestions you guys have for looking at specific problems? Any thing i should look for exterior, interior, mechanical, etc. wise. What is some things i should have replaced right away when getting it?

Also is there any newbie reading materials you guys can point me in the right direction to. Like to build some knowledge as this will be my 1st rotary engine vehicle ever.

Lastly, any specs oon the us & jdm models? engine, height & weight, performance (1/4mi & 60sec), model differences/changes threwout the years, etc.

Thanks guys, lookin foward to hanging around alot!

Nice, I also have a sw20 turbo. The FD is a nice upgrade. Similar, but completely different at the same time. Ironically, my MR2 has been a lot more of a headache to maintain than the FD.. Just make sure you get a good motor, then perform all the reliability upgrades. Most importantly, spend a good couple hours in the FAQ section- lots of information that will save you headaches and funds in the future.. And learn to drive the car before modding it!
