breaking the 12s
mods are full exhaust, intake, and pfc, running off base mod map running around 10psi. boost gauge says im holding about 9.5psi at redline and pfc says 9psi.
with a decent sub 2.2 60ft on stock sized tires and decent driver, do you think its possible to get into the twelves.
fastest time so far was a 13.4@102 back when i had only a downpipe and intake.
to give you some idea of the horsepower, with definite dyno numbers., i spin in first and second. in fact today i short shifted to 2nd and floored it at 2.5K rpms and car lost traction and started sliding around when turbos came alive.
or maybe its old, 225 tires

im wondering about taking off the mbc and running boost off the pfc. does the pfc do an adequate job of controlling boost by itself?

You probably just need some tuning and some boost. Are you running the stock IC?
I ran 12.8@110 putting down just over 300rwhp w/1bar boost. My 60ft was 2.02 on newish S-03s with serious wheel hop on a busted stock diff. My PFC does a fine job holding boost at 10lbs, not so good at 15lbs.

I ran a 12.9 with my friend's G-Tech, and that is with a 5.1 0-60 time (shitty launch). My 0-60 should be in the low to mid 4's, so I should be in the low 12's...and that is about what I expect out of my setup right now with 12 psi and around 360whp on my single turbo.

putting down 280 will get you into 12s if you can drive...The easiest way is to run a few more psi, youre close enough unless that was your absolute best(id go from an average but thats just me).
Tires will make a difference! I have the new Azenis and i'm very happy with them, plus theyre relatively cheap and seem to be wearing better than i had expected. Of course i have 275 in place of the 225 in the back. These tires got me a 2.0 60' time and i'm pretty sure i can get close to 1.8 just by the way they hooked.
If all else fails, you can also start yanking **** out like me(i got no a/c, p/s, rear wiper, washer bottles, air bag, cruise ctrl, spare tire, jack, bose system out - 3 speaker "mini" system, etc..)

FD at 2500RPM has like 100hp and unless it was slippery surface, you dont spin the tires just like that.
Are you sure you dont have a LS1 motor in there ?

i figure with a 60ft of 2 seconds or less and running a full 11 pounds i should hit 12's easily.

yeah i know. i need much more practice launching. ive only raced at the track 3 times. and running less than stock boost didnt help. i probably should get rid of that mbc, so i can know how much boost im running instead of it being a guess job. but i must say boosting upwards of 16psi, close to 20 makes the car feel like a beast.
also good job eric that run was awesome

that run didnt look that bad, though it did get squirly and try to go towards the center line. at least you would have taken out kolk if you raced.
but when/if you get back to gateway and get that car going straight you will put down an impressive number.
