Brake kit for FC - will it fit an FD?

There is a brake kit for sale localy for a good price consisting of 6 pot calipers and 330mm disks with all the hardware to fit an FC.

Would it take much work to fit them on a FD? IE how much different are the FC brake mounts etc to the FD?

yes and no
the stock calipers on the FC and FD is *almost* directly interchangable, but the rotor offset / size is completely different, so the bracket that comes with the kit might very well work

longer answer
you can bolt the stock FD caliper on the FC with no modification,
but since the rotor offset is different, u are lucky if the one you are looking at are 2 piece rotors, that you can change out the hats and everything *might* work together

i say do it if its REALLY cheap, otherwise its not worth it
oh, post pics
