Okay, after doing the non-seq conversion I've noticed that when I am in 5th gear and even under WOT, around 5psi my BOV will start to vent. And no it's not a boost leak in a line somewhere, I 've had that before and it sounds nothing like this. This sounds exactly like the BOV. And it can't be the EGR because it has been disabled.


I';m not sure if this happens in every gear or not, %th gear is the only one where I can hear my engine over my exhaust. But I am falling slightly short on boost in every gear, and I think this could be a culprit.

Is my stock BOV on it's last leg?

 

it seems like the spring might be worn, and no longer able to ''hold up under pressure''....
