Which BOV should I purchase???

An aftermarket BOV is not necessary on any stock twin car. Period.
The only reason to get an aftermarket BOV with the stock twins is the sound, which you can get by venting the stock one (although you will get a nice oily mist buildup from doing so).
So, if you understand that and still want one, just pick whatever one sounds the best to you....

Tial is the best looking in my opinion and has a nice, mature rush of air sound. I can't stand the hks or greddy type s. All they do is make pointless noise. With twins its just anoying because the turbos are almost always spooling. The greddy type r sounds nice too but doesn't look as good.

I wish some company would make an RFQ BOV.
I think all BOVs sound a little silly. The HKS BOV sounds especially silly. They are occasionally fun (like on the first day after you install it), but most of the time I just wish it would be quiet. And I know I could just stay out of the boost, but my foot is too heavy for that. I just want to have my fun without anyone taking notice. I like the looks of the TiAL BOV the best, and I'm generally in awe of the well machined goodness of all their stuff. I don't think it is any louder than it needs to be but it certainly isn't silent, so that's the one I got.

Rynberg, can you elaborate on that oily-mist downside to venting the stock BOV's?
I agree with Maxcooper. I had an aftermarket BOV on my Mr2-Turbo and it got annoying because you are spooling all of the time, and if you are on-and-off the throttle a lot you just hear it TOO much. Perhaps it was because the Turbo (and BOV) were RIGHT behind my head though
I just want to see what happens once my car has aftermarket intakes, and perhaps vent the stock ones sometimes. It was quite an experience going from all NA cars to my first turbo'd car who's turbo spool'd loud and right behind your head...

I'm using the Apexi BOV and have never had this happen on the street. However, after my track days I have to do quite a bit of cleaning on that passenger side of the engine bay.

It really depends on your driving. I seriously doubt you'll have much if any misting unless you:
a. have a problem with the car
b. start tracking the car
Crispy has a thread in the Race Tech section about the oil problem on the track. It's a very good read if you plan to road race the car.

I also, however, definitely drive the FD often enough on the street for it to be considered a merger of the two than strictly one over the other.
I don't think I have time (I'm commited to a lot of things) to see a "track" more than 2-3 times a year.

I've been venting mine for about 1k miles now and it's 100 percent clean where it vents onto. Also, if it did spray mist, I'd rather it be on my engine bay wall then in my airfilter..
