Question Bose center channel removal question

I have blown my center cannel and it is rattling pretty good so I decided to remove it. I got the cover off and the screws but I can't seem to disconnect the harness. I ended up cutting the wires close to the speaker just so that I didn't have to listen to it anymore but I would still like to be able to remove the harness so that I can replace it one of these days. I saw where it seems that it would disconnect from but no matter how much I pull or pry I can't get it off. I saw a little lower on the harness that there are two eared clips that allow a flap to come lose but that doesn't seem to help matters. Any help that can be given to me would be appreciated.

P.S.--> If anybody has a functioning center channel I would be interested in purchasing it so let me know.

You should replace the speaker with a center channal pod from the rx-7 store. It holds two 52mm guages.
