Bosch EV14 FFE Rail Fitment

I currently have the Full Function Engineering Fuel Rails and Bosch EV14 injectors. I was wondering if I need to shave down or cut the hard black plastic piece at the end in order for the o-rings to seal right.

Anyone have any insight on this?

What did FFE say when you emailed them?

I don't remember this being brought up...

Yes, you'll need to remove the lower oring retainer (black plastic peice). It comes off pretty easily with some flush cutters or pliers. Then lube the oring and slide on. Not many of the 48mm ev14's have the larger oring retainer like that..

Thanks,
Aaron

P.S. we'll be returning your call later this afternoon.

the internet is very vague as to making these style injectors fit for our applications. Most require a injector boss of some kind.

Hopefully you get your issues worked out

We spoke about them briefly and you recommended the ID but no big deal. I just pulled them off and we're good to go!
