Question Boost drop @ 6000 rpm?

Before you start flaming me about the search function, I no longer have broadband connections except at work ... so I can't really access stuff right now. I'm working on that.

I recently had a slight off-road adventure at my last auto-x. Nothing seems damaged. But, in 3rd gear, I am noticing that the boost peaks at 10 around 5000 rpm and then drops off to 6-7 psi right around 6000-6500 rpm. This doesn't happen in 4th gear. And I don't think it happens in 2nd ... I'll check that later tonight.

I just recently had the turbo's rebuilt and added a downpipe. Does this sound odd?

On a stock car boost should bleed back to 8 past 6000 rpm. It's normal.
