boost controller problems with the power fc

I really need your help on this as im lost.

Just bought a Greddy profec B boost controller from RX7DV8 and the boost controller seemed to work fine. Since my Greddy T78's wastegate spring is @ 10lbs i cant go no lower than that.

(Long story short) on low boost it seems ok (+.58 kg/ccm2= 7.66lbs On high boost i set the boost controller **** all the way to max boost and it went to +.78 kg/ccm2= 11.06lbs. thats wierd cause if i put it on high boost & took the **** all the way to max it should be a whole lot more than that (more like 30psi or something like that). The balance is at sharp all the way. but what im wondering is if the PFC is doing anything to prevent the boost controller from doing this?

any help is appreciated just want to know if rx7dv8 gave me a legit boost controller

However the car was boosting very high (fuel cut hit @ 14psi) when we put the turbo on without the boost controller. so i know its not the turbo

whoa.... first of all turn the high boost **** all the way down. Make sure the switches on the back of the Profec are in the right position. I don't remember the settings exactly but I know there like 4 of them, two go down and two go up. That could have an effect on your boost controller. Also how do you have the vacum lines pluged in? If you don't have them routed the right way the boost controller won't work right. The PFC won't have any bearing on the boost controller not working right. Boost controller works by boost and vacum readings so if you don't have it hooked up right it won't work as it should.

I always seem to like to post my solutions since someone may have the same problem. THus not alot of the same threads

Went all around the car since the boost controller is working find & found a boost leak in one of the rubber hoses near the turbo. there was a whole in one of the rubber hoses. Replaced it & it boosted @ 15psi. so Immediately turned the boost down.

SO ya it was a boost leak. Simple!
