BNR stage 3's
I am looking into purchasing some bnr stage 3 twins.. i would love to get some feedback from you that have a pair and see what the pro's and con's are... Also I have tried to get to Bnr's webpage to get a phone number and the link doesn't work.. any suggestions or a number would help.. Also possibly some pro's and cons of the stage 3's against single setup..

people have reported 350-370 rwhp on the stockers. an additional 30 rwhp isnt worth 2k plus labor to me. Unless u need a rebuild anyways..then i would do it.

thanks mahjik. . . it only makes sense to email the guy you wanna talk to instead of beating around the bush. haha.
i, personally, rode in the first car that the turbos were installed on. the feeling was very positive. boost response is amazing. . . considering that the boost response on stockers running parallel is horrible. the turbos produce and bryans warranty is rock solid. . . just like his twins!!! you wont be disappointed.
someone mentioned that the bnrs arent that much better in performance than the stockers. i beg to differ. the stockers are widely known as hard to launch (for beginners and some experienced drivers) when in sequential form. they spool really fast and make it hard to hook up. you are also limited to around 15 or so psi on stock turbo rotating assembly. . . after that and longevity is getting sloshed around as much as you are. haha.
the bnrs have a more efficient rotating assembly and can handle more boost. if your ems and fuel system can handle it then you can move to a parallel (lighter and less hassle) setup with massive power. the low end grunt on the bnrs as compared to the stockers in parallel is amazing. its almost instantanious.
IMO, $2k is a very good price for that kind of performance. i almost got rid of my xs to4e kit for his setup, but i didnt wanna deal with getting all my twin stuff back. i had sold it all in order to get it. haha.
bottom line. . . best bang for the buck turbo upgrade = bnr stage 3's. . . period.

Thanks rotorbrain... it really helps to hear from guys like you who know more about them.. It'l help me make a more educated decision. When I talked with brian, he strongly reccomended that you do not run them parallel? and i have read the same thing, mainly because of the laggyness it causes.. Do you differ with this? input??

Where did you guys hear that its best to run the sequential??? You can run the seq but no one has and I dont thing its best. The only place your going to benifit running them seq is under 3000rpms, but your going to hurt yourself between 3500-5000rpms, which is a more important rpm range if you ask me.
Anyway, this doesnt even get into the fact that running full non seq the only vac lines I have is for the fuel pressure regulator and the wastegate. If I wanted to I could yank out my fuel rails without even pulling the uim off haha
Anyway, I've had the stage 3's since mid december and I've been running the everloving **** out of them everyday for the past 3 and a half months which is abount 5000 miles or so. I'm the ONLY person so far to dyno them and I made 412 at the wheels HOWEVER, my intake temps were up on the dyno cause I run a smic. When I went to the track with a full tank of gas I granny shifted my way to a 125mph trap speed which translates into around 430ish rwhp. I usually run 5gallons of gas which would have saved 100lbs. That weight saving along with driving hard would have giving closer to 126-127. The closest stock twins trap ever is 122 and that was with speed shifting and being hard on the car, I also think it was with race gas.
All of my numbers is on straight pump gas and I drive it with the exact same set up daily.

And yea, I do have engine porting but its nothing major. I got a basic street port about 2 years ago.

I'm running all the bolt ones with a smic similar to the M2 med. I'm running a Walbro pump, 850/1200 injectors and a Power FC/datalogit/techedge wb. I'm also running a MSD 6a on the leading plugs. Steve Kan from Gothamracing.com did my tuning and its very conservative. According to him I've actually got a nice amount of hp left in my timing and split but with the car running so good I just decided to leave it alone and keep my margin of error.

Thanks for all the good input guys... So stephen, brian told me about your car, but i was under the impression you were running full sequential? I guess I was wrong... Brian said your getting about 10lbs at 3000 and then full up to redline.. Any more info from you guys would really help.. I'm seriously considering putting a set of these on my car, but I'm a little cautious because I'm way down here in so. fla. and I can't see them work for myself and noone here has done them yet... I'd love to be the first one, but i wanna do the right thing.. I'ts between those and a single setup... Keep up the input. Thanks alot.

No, the MSD 6a is a amp box for your ignition.
I'm running full NON seqential. And I'd be glad to give you pretty much any info you want, just ask away. My car doesnt really have anything "special" done to it. Its all standard bolt one, standard street port, 2mm oem apex seals. The main thing is to spend the money on tuning cause if its not tuned you can have all the mods in the world and its not going to matter.

single=huge power potential, big lag, expensive...ultimately "more" of a drag racing setup
upgraded twins = less power potential, less lag, cheaper...ultimately a street or road coarse set up.
well thats my take atleast.
