BNR stage 3 rebuld

Has anyone run the stage 3 rebuild in sequential? I know I am goign to neeed new turbos by spring so its either single or the rebuild. I've seen numbers posted as high as 407hp at 17psi from the BNRs is this true? I searche dbut couldn't find it, I believe it was good fellas fd3s that posted it, was it taken down? Has anyone pushed more than 17 psi out of them? what is the durability of the units? Do they still go full boost at 2500 rpm in sequential?

The threads with all of Richs(GoodfellaFD3S) numbers are mostly all in the archives, but here is his high boost thread for you.

Rich's high boost thread:

As for Xeros's qeustion, i also plan on running BNR's sequentially very soon so any info on them is good to hear.

I've heard the sweet spot for these turbos is between 17 to 22 psi, or around there. I'm sure someone has had to have taken them above 17 psi, but Rich's numbers are amazing for 17 psi on basically "stock" twins.

Also, I believe the only known person on the forum running the BNR's sequentially is Rynberg, but i'm not sure if his break in period is done yet or not. I'm hoping he can chime in with some info on how the turbos react and perform sequentially. Anyways, goodluck with your project.

jdtanksley is also running them seq. He had trouble at the dyno so they converted to non-seq and tuned. The last I heard from him, he was back seq. His car is a beast too.

well, on the first weekend of december, david garfinkle (GARCO MOTORWORKS) will be getting his setup tuned. he has one of the first sets of the NEW stage 3s and its been a long time coming. . . basically, its about freakin time. anyways, theyll be tuned. . . and im sure hell wanna turn up the boost to see what they can do. he has everything needed to turn it up. . . all supporting mods. . . hes good to go. . . the only thing that can hold him back is the turbos. . . and i doubt they will.

They are even more amazing considering I ported and built the motor myself.....when I bought my FD I couldnt even change the damn spark plugs

Re: the boost levels, bryan has always told me that 20 psi is most likely about their limits.

can you safely run 17.5 psi daily? Have you track tested the car? When I say track I mean Auto-X and racing tracks? I just want to know thir durability at those numbers.
