I personally wouldn't run the BNRs or any carbon seal twin-turbo sequentially past 15 lbs for too long because of the heat it generates. Bryan was going to put in his new dynamic seals in my turbos but it is still somewhat new and is experimenting on that now. The dynamic seal will help with spooling faster and put less stress on the shafts so you can run more boost seq. or non-seq. I'd push the carbon seal BNRs up to 17-19 lbs but only non-seq so there isn't as much heat in that transition stage.

Many feel that the manifold prevents making big hp but I remember somebody else running some type of Garrett twins at 17 psi (non-seq) and making like 407 rwhp on the stock manifold. I'm sure 430 would be about the max but it could be done.

I'm not trying to win a contest here for the largest amount of hp. If that were the case I'd just go single and be done with it. But to me, the BNRs for the money you spend give you a very streetable (seq), single turbo like power at a fraction of the cost. If I wanted more power I'd get a MP but I hate midpipes - HF cats are more streetable for me.

I'm not in it for the hp title either, i just want to be planted firmly in the 10 sec range when I go to the track. I was only planning on running 17psi when I go to the track. The rest of the time I would keep it around 14 to 15. Right now my other big hang up is deciding between a FMIC and a large SMIC. What's your take on that situation??

Large smic, even though the FMIC looks cool i would go with the smic. Gives you better air flow to your radiator and is better in traffic if you have the fan mod (no heat soak)

Most seem to agree that a large smic goes better with the twins. The M2 large or medium has only .5 pressure drop. FMICs seem to run better with single turbos and drag racing.

Kwik, I just did my baseline dyno today. Go and check out the post if you like. I'm dissapointed, but from what I've heard my numbers were pretty close to dead on for being a 4th gear pull. Thank God for BNR when I get the money!! Laterz.

matt...they posted a dyno sheet for a stock motor fd over in the m2 upgrade thread.

358@15lbs and plenty o power down low....with a street port he would be in the 380 range at 15lbs Id guess.

Artguy, I know a guy that has street ported with all the standard goodies and stock twins that is making just under 390rwhp at just a little over a bar of boost if memory serves me right. He was the first guy to guinea pig the M2 BB turbos and I felt it in the car. Like you said, awesome low end torque and HP.

Some of you guys are complaining of reaching boost at such high rpms. One thing to help cut down on the wait, higher gearing in the rear, 4.3. Even around street, still hopping around at a higher RPM. I am always up in my RPM range. Tho I still have stock turbos. Just a suggestion.

For those interested I will be carrying the BNR Stage 2 turbos in stock. I can send you the turbos and you send me your core. No down time.

I know who you are talking about...don't see it. Ask him for the dyno sheet as XS always gives you one when you dyno. Bet he can't.

Alan,
I have seen 354 RWHP out of stock twins on a stock block @ 15 psi with a full exhaust..

one thing to add is that the M2 archtype BB lost HP on the top end
