Blue-Green liquid

I just got my car back from having the clutch fork replaced and there is a bluish-greenish liquid leaking from around the center of the car. I know the new fork was re-lubed quite a bit but I'm not sure what this liquid is.

Ditto on the coolant. What does it smell like...?

I would suggest either brake fluid (something like Super Blue ATE) or transmission oil considering the repair that was done. If it's thick, then its transmission oil. If it's fairly thin and slick, it brake fluid.

The clutch uses brake fluid... I think that some brands/types come in blue color. The clutch system uses brake fluid and during the re-install, it's easy to "blow out" the slave cylinder and make a big mess!

My theory is that during the repairs, the mechanics made a mess and you're seeing the leftovers dripping off the tranny belly pan.

If you are lucky, it's not an -ongoing- leak, but rather something that spilled during repairs.

It has a fairly thick consistancy. Hopefully it's excess fluid from when the work was done and I'll keep tabs on it to see if the fluid stops dripping. Thanks for the info.
