Blitz SBC-ID solenoid

I installed my new Blitz SBC-ID solenoid under the passenger side dash right up against the firewall. (it said keep it away from heat) The thing is as soon as I start hitting any kind of boost it starts making a clicking sound. Is this normal?? I of coarse babied back home and parked it. I have the out hooked to the actuator is this correct?? Should I have left the pill in?? If so which side "IN" or "OUT". The ID part works great. It's the solenoid that's worrying me.

Please help. The instructions were unclear.

Yes, you have it hooked up correctly. However, you are supposed to mount the solenoid in the engine compartment!

You want the hoses from the turbo and to the actuator as short as possible. You also want it in the engine compartment so you don't have to listen to the clicking!

Mount it behind the ABS system. It's pretty cool there, due to the ABS heat shield and it's also pretty close to the turbo and wastegate actuator.
