Big help needed with clutch need GURU
This is the final stage that I am at with my RX7 on the rebuild, the car starts and everything works i just need the clutch to work
I started bleeding the clutch and noticed that all the brake fluid was coming through the transmission, I checked all fittings and then realized it was coming through the clutch release cylinder, so i took out the clutch release cylinder and I thought I was missing the piston I was not
I then inspected the clutch release fork assembly and noticed that it is springing towards the front part of the car, their is no spring back towards the clutch release cylinder (push rod), I am not sure if this is how this is suppose to work, I do not want to have to remove the transmission I was very careful when I was putting this together and I doubt I made a mistake, anyway can someone please advise me on what i need to do.
Need the clutch to work to lift off.

The throw-out bearing needs to be engaged to the clutch. Pull the end of the clutch fork towards the rear of the car until the throw-out bearing clicks into place.
If the rod in the slave cylinder extends to far it will blow fluid out of the end. Clean it up and press the rod back into the cylinder with the bleed screw loose. It should slide in pretty easy.
Hope this helps,
Dan

My slave cylinder boot had ripped apart and it came falling out when I released my throw out bearing from my clutch. I think you can see it sitting on the sidelines in my build pics.
Whew... Awkward. Not really useful since Chadwick beat me to it. :-)
