Could i just remove the bolts from the transfer case going to the transmission and drop it from there?? and then put the clutch in or would i have to remove everything exhaust and all??

Transfer case??? Didn't know RX7's came in 4 wheel drive. mid pipe, ppf, drive shaft, starter, slave cyl. all that jazz comes off. Make sure you take the inspection panels off and rotate the flywheel to relaese the clutch from the fly wheel, and take out the bell housing bolts and install revearse of removal.
It is all in your service manual.

Basically, you need to remove/unbolt anything that keeps the transmission from coming away from the car.
