Banzai motor mounts- stock shields and rubber buffers ?
I just installed the Banzai motor mounts, and their instructions don't show the stock rubber buffer/surround that fits in the keyed hole, nor does it show using the stock heat-shield for the exhaust side mount, nor the wrap-around band on the left-side.
Any issue with installing these ?
I'm planning on drilling an access-hole for a 14mm-socket in the heat-shield so I can relieve the compression as the motor-mount settles in.
TIA,
:-) neil
BTW: the only thing different on the left vs. right motor-mount arms, is that the right/exhaust-side mount has tapped holes for the stock DP heat shield.

i agree with sgtblue. when i installed my bushings (not banzai, but same idea) i just used the bushings and the heat shield. i didnt really see any need to cut a hole in the heat shield, its really pretty easy to take it off from under the car. seems ok so far, but i havnt even used a quarter tank of gas on those bushings yet.
