Bad idle, poor heavy accel. and boost reads HIGH

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
Out of the blue, my car is idling poorly and my PFC is reading up to 1.5 boost under semi-heavy acceleration when my manual boost gauge reads aroung 8lbs.
I am assuming that the PFC thinks I am under more boost than I really am and thus causing my car is run extremely rich. What should I check? With the car off, the PFC reads +0.35...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

try an other map sensor, if the boost is not correct, the map sensor might be off. If the sensor is off, the car is going to run real bad, that's for sure.

Thanks for the reply...I re-initalized the powerfc and it started reading correctly. Strange. It's a little sluggish...maybe because now the plugs are fouled or the fc is re-learning the car...not sure. The good news is that at least its running again.
