is this bad?

i started my FD this morning and drove it maybe 200 feet out my apartment lot when all of a sudden there was no throttle response and there was a backfire out the exhaust, i saw a puff of smoke come out briefly and then i had to restart the engine. it cranked up fine and seemed to drive fine afterwards.

i parked it back cuz i'm scared to drive it now. was it carbon build up that caused it to backfire and stall out? it was driving just fine yesterday. only mods i have are a catback exhaust, intake, alum radiator, AST replacement. any advice would be appreciated.

white means that you're burning coolant but it will be constant white smoke,
blue means that you're buring oil

how many miles are on it? it could have been clogged cats and you just blew it out

based on your mods though you need to look into getting a stand alone ecu becaue you are going to be running lean which eventually will lead to detonation

car has 140K on it, engine has about 40K on it. the car seemed to drive just fine after the incident occurred, but i'm a little scared and i just parked it afterwards. my biggest concern is why would the engine stall out after it backfired?

if the cat was clogged then the car would stall because it couldn't push out the exhaust and bog out

most likely it just misfired and was a glitch, that sometimes happens
