AutoX experience with dual stage WI and Evans Coolant
Ran 5 runs today. Temp 86 degrees, 60% humidity.
99 spec turbos, ASP medium, dual stage WI, first injector on at 4psi, second at 10.
Runs were about 52-60 secs each. I must of hit my on/off switch to off on the last run. Unfortunately, I didn't look at my knock readings during any of the runs.
On the first 4 runs, I was ending with AIT around 32C. After the first run, even with heat soak to around 65C it would cool down to the 32's. On the last run with the SI off...I ended up with an AIT of 50. Still not bad with heat soak.
Also, I have a one gallon tank and was surprised to see I used about a quart after just 5 runs (less than 5 mins). Something to consider as you guys are putting in tanks.
Finally, I have a pettit low temp thermostat that runs the car TOO cold. I switched to Evans (Zero pressure) to keep the temp more steady. (I know, not the way to fix the problem)...and dual oil coolers.
I have a PFC with the fans set to come on early...(don't remember the exact numbers). Just during routine crusing I see around 76C. After the runs the water temp was just 90 degrees. Once I idled to the grid and left the fans running, the temp would drop. At the start of the next run, the water temps would be 70.
So far so good....will see what happens during a HPDE...

dubulup, your right of course.
With standard coolant it would take FOREVER for the car to warm up. Also at cruise the temp would be 76c sometimes dipping to the low 70's on cold nights. Like I said TOO cold.
