i have the ATR midpipe.....its worked good for me...
but if you dont want your car to be loud dont get it.....
my car is freakin loud!!!!!!
Ari from RX-7.COM sold it to me.....he told me there is no difference performance wise.......compare to other cats....mine is stainless steel and i paid about 195 for it....
my opinion is if you find one ....get it...

It seems Alx7 is talking about the ATR mid pipe. However it seems your question is in regards to their main high flow cat replacement. I arranged a group buy on these about a year ago through MVPmotorsports.com. For the price you can't beat their cat. Even if it wasn't a GB the cost would have been much less than other products.

I know cats failing due to heat is a concern and I am sorry but we haven't owned our cats long enough to have had any heat related failures.

I'm not 100% sure if the cat needs to be attached to the air pump but the cat did have a nipple for the attachment so we all fabricated small pipes and welded them on. This was a PITA but my understanding is that many of the high flows offered don't come with the little pipe. One guy cut the pipe off of an old stock cat.

Overall it is a very nice unit and I would recommend it.

Well to be honest I haven't put mine on yet. The main reason for this is that I waited 3 months for new gaskets to come in from http://alamomotorsports.com/ that never came and then another 3 months from another vendor that I won't mention here. I also want to do a before/after dyno day.

As for my friends I wouldn't feel right giving out their contact info on a public forum but they all seem happy with them. They are a bit louder but nothing like a mp. If you really want to speak with them PM me and I'll contact them to see if they have any comments on them.
