should be a little better than this....

when my car dynoed at 244 rwhp i pulled low 13s with a 2.0 second 60 ft (i consider this average driving)

so with around 50 more rwhp, he should be into the mid 12s (around 12.5-12.7 or so) with average driving, and lower in the 12s with a good set of tires and good driving.

Driver skill will make as much as a full second in difference in times.

I agree. Hell, back in the day I ran something like a 17 second pass at 112 mph

1/4 mile times will depend mostly on your driving and suspension. A 250hp car with good suspension/tires will outrun a 300hp car with stock suspension and H rated tires.

That very reasonable on good drag tires with a good driver, rotary or ls1. With 217rwhp (assuming that was factory) on stock expedias I ran 13.36 and then 12.3x with a precat and open 3" exhaust from there to the back and M&H street drag tires.

It is pretty difficult to get a good launch, and good time with little experience. I almost stalled mine the first time I tried at the track. . . not so cool. Tough to answer this question . . . it's like asking, "would would the 40 time be of a 237 pound 31 year old white guy?" Your car probably could run mid to low 12's. . . but you won't know until you give it a run. Have fun out there, and don't stall.

Did you get the 217 rwhp on a dyno? The 255 hp # from the factory is to the ground. The estimated hp#s are 305 on a factory fresh FD.

255 is at the flywheel on a stock fd. Not sure where you read that a bone stock fd makes 255rwhp? Haha launching on an auto fd is pretty damn easy Im at 285 whp, auto fd and ran 13.0, but thats with 4.33 gears so its not laggy at all compared to the 3.9 gears on the stock auto. To bad the auto tranny cant support more hp

Red95FD, 255 HP stock is at the flywheel.. The car in question is my previous car and made 296 RWHP on mustang dyno at 7100 RPM on 12 PSI. THe best time i ever got out of it was on 1/8th of mile track and was 8.20 at 89 MPH. Not to mention that my 60' time sucked and car spunned like crazy on low profile 17'' tires.
