Apex'i GT FMIC install project
Just sharing my FMIC install project to you guys. With about 2 hours of free time a day I should get the project completed hopefully within the next few days. Here's some pics to show how it's going. Oh btw the ugly guy in the pic is TTTeddy helping me out.
Just a before pic of the nice pretty stock engine.

Here's a stupid question: If you put a large FMIC on, how does that affect air flow to the radiator? Do you have to do any kind of modification to allow air to pass more freely or what?

Ok, so you're upgrading the radiator too...(bear with me here, still learning)
So does the new rad mount in the stock location? I'm still not understanding how the air flow will not be restricted...or will the new radiator just function so much better that the restricted airflow will not be a problem?

Did you end up having to take off the front bumper? And what else was involved in the install? Post some pics when its done!!! I'm in the process off deciding what IC to get along with a radiator, but I'm not sure I wanna move the battery, although right now I am leaning towards the Blitz FMIC.

Yeah I'm going to end up taking off the front bumper. Gotta take of the 2 front tires to unscrew the wheel cover under the fender. Then I'll be able to reach the bolts to unscrew the front bumper. The stock battery I hear is too large so I went out and got a Miata battery which is about 1/2 the size of our stock one. I'm not sure how much larger the Blitz FMIC is, but if its anywhere near the size of the Apex'i GT FMIC looks like u'll either need to get a smaller batter or move the battery to the trunk. I'll post more pics probably Sat morning. Today's Friday and don't feel like getting dirty before goin out
