"size of the hose really shouldn't matter." correct.
if you give us additional details re your boost problem you will probably obtain more help. i consider the AVCR to be one of the very best controllers...

non-sequential, Apexi Intakes, Koyo Radiator, Greddy Type RS BOV, Megan Racing Midpipe and Downpipe.
It was working semi decent with 4mm diameter hose, i wasnt getting full boost, so me and my friend thought it was maybe the hose was too small and was choking the boost, so i ordered 6mm hose and swapped it all out, now when i press on the throttle to get boost, the car does a nose-dive and feels like its downshifting. (even though its not cause its a manual)

With your mods and no aftermarket ecu. You should keep your boost at 10psi or less. You also might experience a boost spike due to your exhaust and intake being wide open with no restriction. You should try and look into getting a chipped ecu like a pettit unlimited if you can. How much boost are you pushing now? Wish I could help you out more. It sounds like your hitting a cut in fuel or spark, because I remember I had a PFC on my old twin setup tried doing 14psi. It hit cut and felt like how your describing.

thanks for the input all. My friend came over and we were looking at it and my good buddy pointed out what seems to be the problem, It seems that my Fuel Pulsation Dampener is shot... it is bubbling fuel at the top and there is fuel all over the top of the engine (under the UIM). My question is, could this cause the boost-nose dive i have been experiencing?
my boost was set to 10psi.
my boost was set to 10psi.

I looked at fabes21 car today and the fuel dampner is bad. I am sure when the boost comes on there is not enough fuel to comp for the boost. Since the fuel is leaking out from the dampner. Before the dampner went bad it was boosting fine.

the scramble feature is great if u plan on doing some pulls on the interstate but don't want full boost all of the time. i set it for 45 seconds and i love it. keeps the gas milage up when u are just driving around town and is a lot easier than switching from setting A to B on the fly... oh yeah... fix that pulsation damper!
