Yeah, I'm using it on my 93 FD. Works great. Grabs nice and will support a lot of horsepower. A friend with a 10 sec mustang uses it also. No problems with it. Hope that helps.

I have it too and love it. Pedal feels "about" the same than the stocker too.

I'm thinking about using that in my car.. Seems to work well. If your car is a daily, I recommend using act.. spec 3 I used seems to be little bit more of a work out.

That's a first. I had Spec clutches on both of my FD's and never had a problem with the throw out bering. I had a Spec stage 4 on my old one too (4 puck) and I like better than my 6 puck.

I've been driving a Stage 3 for almost a year now. Pedal pressure is nice and light, but it is a bit unforgiving. I have a light flywheel as well, and if you come out of the clutch just a bit too fast, you'll look like an ***. After not driving the car for 3 months (car in body shop), I had to relearn to drive the car just a bit, but after a week or so, things became a lot easier again. It seems to be holding the power well too (425 whp and no problems).

THanks guys..

thats some positive feed back, i was looking for.

Just wondering, the guys with the (4puck) stage 4 clutches..
is it worth it??? Does it HOLD and feel, like the stage3 (6puck)

DOes the CLUTCH come as a KIT????
and if it does, what did it include??
IM assumming it included, the Clutch, Pressureplate, throwoutbearing, pilot bearing.
Was there anything else you had to purchase to put it in??

thanks again.

I have 445miles on my new SPEC III+. New model between the 3 and 4. Grab's a little harder than my old ACT. Seems like its going to kick *** at the track but for daily driving I would like my old ACT back!!

Thumbs up

my stock clutch went out as soon as i did any upgrades, so i put the Spec stage 2 in because i heard you must have a alot of hp aready for the clutch to work right, not sure if thats true or not but i bought the spec II and love it no problems and graps great.

I have the spec six puck, if that is the stage 3. The pedal feel is light, but release was kinda high, so I had to adjust the pedal a little. Fun to install, I too had to grind the fork a little to get the throw out bearing on without binding. Good luck man.

I just installed mine, I luv it . It grips really nice, the first few miles on it was great, knowing I had a strong clutch because it wanted to grab soo hard in frist and reverse it chatters until the break-in is over.

The stage 3 is a 6 puck, the 3+ is a full faced metallic disk. So it is supposed to be a little more street friendly.. My 3+ grabs really quick and hard...
