anyone using exedy stage1 organic w/ single setup?
I have searched but haven't found what I'm looking for.
my motor was in need of a rebuild, and also time for a new clutch. so In an attempt to save a little cash I have purchased an exedy stage 1 organic clutch kit. my setup will be large street port w/ gt35r t4. now my tial wastegate is set at a minnimum 12psi which I plan on either running that or no more than 15psi for low boost. has anybody done this successfully or does this clutch just have no chance? I am planning on eventually saving my pennies for the hyper twin setup so I can up the boost without worry, but for now I will be very happy just to get the car driving again.
by the way, does the exedy hyper setups come with a flywheel or not?
thanks for input.

Hey, I'm in the same boat. I'm not sure how much hp or torque you're expecting with your setup, but I was told for me the exedy organic clutch would definitely not do. I'll be somewhere around 400ish rwhp and 300 somethin rwtq. I then started to look into the Exedy Hyper single, but was told it was a complete waste of money and that only the Exedy mutliplate is worth purchasing. In the end, I decided to go with a Spec Stage 2 until I get my motor ported, then I'll be getting the multidisk Exedy as well.
I would say just go to Exedy's website and read up on how much the organic can handle, but from what I remember it's not much at all. You might just have to end up selling it. Goodluck.
