anyone use these pullies?

I saw these... they are cheap, but when you think about it all it is is a hunk of CNC metal.

There can't really be a failure rate for something like this can there?

As a general rule of thumb: don't buy performance parts from Ebay.
These pulleys are aluminum, the one that drives the waterpump will loose it's grooved surface and will start to slip. That's a Bad Thing™

from what i've found these are just as good as running the expensive pullies. i've got these same ones on my fd with no problems. only problem with this setup is u need to run the belt fairly tight to keep water pump tight. pullies & an idler pully setup would be the better setup. imo

i'm running something similar. same polish color made by Bonz from ebay.

these are basically knockoff of the greddy pully. the grooves on the water pump pullies will wear off eventually no matter what brand you get. even greddy. both alt and water pullies will need to be replaced overtime from wear

well I was thinking of getting these, and then running the extra idler kit that bolts to where the airpump was.

Exactly. I would never buy a ebay turbo or manifold... cams, pistons etc (for my non rotary car ) but this is a round hunk of metal... pretty hard to screw up. Anyways, bought them... and I'm going to get the extra idler pully that makes the contact patch much larger on the waterpump pully.
