Question Anyone try Hurley's "Duplex" apex seals?

http://www.hurleyrotary.com/HME_Long..._Tip_Seals.htm
I'm not sure if these would be suitable for turbocharged applications, or even for racing applications. But they look like a cool idea. Anyone have any info on these, other than what's on Hurley's site?

Hmm... Looks neat... but I'd be concerned that the thinner material would break under boost and be even more sensitive to detonation than the stock 2mm 3 piece ones.

That's what I was thinking, but I wonder if anyone is using them in naturally aspirated cars.

I figured the swing tip seals were only for the motorcycle engines.

i talked to eamon about those seals. he says that people are so trusting in the hd seals that they just get them and dont worry about the others. the duplex seals have had a good history though. i asked about how they held up and he said that the ones in use have proven themselves to be very worthwhile. i might try them in my 2nd gen.
