anyone no2 or co2 spraying their fd ?
I meant to clarify in the title (spraying the intercooler)
anyone doing this ? I have only a few more parts to buy before I can give this a try.
Seattle isn't the warmest place ever but on 85 degree days my pfc reads low to high 40's Celsius and I can most deffinently see a huge drop in power compared to 15-20c. It would be cool to drive the car with about 20c intake temps in the middle of the summer
I plan on having a momentary push button switch to activate this, I tossed around wot switch but I rarely go all the way down with the expensive peddle.
a few questions.
What is the price difference between co2 and no2 to fill a 10 lb bottle?
About how long/sprays would a 10 lb bottle last with a 150 shot solenoid ? 200 shot ?
Air intake temps when spraying I would see are ?
Correct me if I'm wrong, the car would or would not need to be re-tuned after I do this, it would just run as if the air intake is very cold ? -not flow so much more air I could risk boost spike or similar

N2O is more expensive, but it will add power while decreasing temps.
Here is some more info that should help you decide

Preventing engine fires from anti-freeze & fuel leaks with C02 is a plus.
Bad if you're sucking it into the intake from a leak.
