is anyone here running the RE Amemiya ECU upgrade
there is a stage B Redom(basically stage II) RE Amemiya ECU for sale on ebay right now from RHDjapan

i want to buy a Power FC but i'm really not looking for sick HP just between 325-375whp and this looks like it would do me well. it sounds like it controls boost by way of the siloides so going full non-seq. sounds out of the picture now. also does the newer rx7s have bigger injectors b/c mid 300's sounds like a lot on a stock fuel system.
any help?
thanks
Rob

I wanted to get that same exact RE AMEMIYA ECU but ended up getting the Knightsports 4Beat ECU instead. from RHDJapan. This is the 3rd exact RE Amemiya Btype ECU i've seen him selling. The switch function is really awsome. Got the KS ECU instead due to timing issue. I was really sketchy at first because i heard a lot of people telling me that japan vehicles are tuned for 99 octane gas. but after getting reply from Meiogirl, knowing that she's running the same KS ECU with no problem, i went ahead and installed it with downpipe midpipe with a Magnaflow hi-flo cat on the MP at the same time. I'm running 91 octane pumped gas and the car runs great. both turbos pulls really well.
mann the car flys. I haven't put in my boost gauge yet. so i'm not sure how much i'm boosting, but supposely at 0.9 bar (12 lbs) but with both fuel and ignition adjusted and all the fuel cuts taken out.
I'm not sure if the RE Amemiya ECU requires to plug the 3/4" hose & fitting on the intake elbow, but with the Knightsports you have to, or else you will get a crazy rpm bounce at idle that goes up to 2500 rpm and down repeatedly. Anyone know why that is?

94 white touring: blitz sustec dual intake, ARC SMIC, HKS SS BOV, T-Pros stainless MP, DP, Magnaflo cat, RB dual tip exhaust, RE Amemiya short shifter, Tein HA coilovers, 18" 5Zigen 5ZR, 99spec: lip, non-adjustable R1 strut bar, and tail light.

I just purhased the amemiya ecu for my 94 rx-7. I'm having major problems! The car will run and idle with the stock ecu, but I can't use it since I have a midpipe and downpipe and intake. With the amemiya ecu, the car idles at 3000 rpm, and that's if I can get it to start! Usually, it just starts and then dies real quick.
